Congratulations Satchinan

Satchinan Reddy, a 3rd year Sport Management student at NMMU, has been selected to attend the level 2 coaching course presented by the South African Hockey Association from the 07th to the 10th of February 2011. This is the highest level of coaching course presented by South African Hockey. Prospective coaches were asked to submit their CV’s and only 15 coaches throughout South Africa have been invited to attend the course.

Satchinan Reddy is not only an excellent hockey coach, but also a South African hockey player. He made the SA U/16, U/17, and U/18 sides. In 2009 Satchinan Reddy was selected to play in the African World Cup Qualifiers, where the team won gold. Satchinan also represented the SA U/21 team and played against Pakistan. In 2010 he attended the South African “A” emerging team training camp.

We would like to congratulate Satchinan and wish him all the best for the coaching course.
