They chose daycare centres as their 2023 project schools: Lalla’s Daycare, Phandolwazi, and Good Shepherds.
As part of the theory and practical aspects of the specialization modules, students developed a funding proposal which they used to get donations, organized a toy and book drive and a sports event, in their efforts to reach the target they needed of R15 000.
The money was used to install a new playground structure at Phandulwazi, repair a dilapidated play structure at Good Shepherds, and purchase additional educational toys for both Good Shepherd and Lallas Daycare.
